First, there’s our great affection for Scout Lake, the most ideal swimming hole just a short drive from town that’s filled with fond summertime memories. If you’re in town during the warmer season, it’s definitely a must! Then there’s the whimsical tale of the Old Scout, the first car to conquer the rugged McKenzie Pass, charged the fee of a hefty hog by confused toll-takers. A little piece of old-time Sisters lore. But perhaps most importantly, our name reflects our core mission: to help you in scouting out your ideal retreat to Sisters.
